    Hi,

    If you see my filters on allcloudjobs.com, Company, Role, Exp., Location & Technology all are using multiselectbox as filter type however the problem is when I click on Technology search filter then it shows a Search option & Loading.. below it & after 5-6 seconds all the options load under it , at the other side if you see other filters like Role, company, Exp., Location which are also using multiselectbox as filter type but they quickly show the data. I want the same quick data show when I click under Technology search filter, it should not showsearch & loading...

    Thanks.

    Hi rakesh.

    Can you tell me if the data in "Technology" is entered the same way all other columns' data has been entered?

    The filters should all work the same if they have been entered in the same way. Are these foreign keys, or are they being pulled from the DB?

    Please provide as much info about the table as you can. Also, if at all possible, you can provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Aleksandar,

    Thanks for replying, I have done changes today but still could not stop Loading____ or Searching... to come when I select Multiselectbox as the filter type..., it makes a slow impression, there is a change today, all the other filters also gave the same searching.... & loading.... when I selected multiselectbox for them. I wanted a search feature like site:https://www.naukri.com/advanced-search . If you type Java in key skills it does not say searching or loading rather immediately suggest , similarly for location...

    Awaiting your kind response.

    Hello rakesh.

    I went in and really tried to find a solution for you, but unfortunately couldn't shorten the load time. You see, we use WordPress' admin-ajax calls, and they depend on a few things - your Server speed, internet, data upload/download limit, etc. I cleared the cache, hoping that'd speed it up, but to no avail.

    I see, however, that the checkboxes you set up work really well, so can this be an option for your website?

    Best regards.

    Hi Aleksandar,

    Thanks for taking time to help me. The only problem with checkbox thing is it may eat up lot of space. So i actually wanted the way naukri.cim advance search works,the link i shared u in my previous comment.

    If its not possible thenhow about removing search feature and juat showing the data available in alphabatical order.

    I also wanted to ask you few more questions:

    1. Is there a limit of number of rows or colums in excel?

    2. Can i use this plugin on other website of mine or its single website license?

    3. Is powerful filter and cascade filter different ?

    4.  Can i add More.. on the pop up coming for location and other similar colums so that it should not take much space and more options can be shown..

    5. Is editing table from mobile login to wordpress not possible?

    6. How to get filter search option just above each columa like u show on ir demos?

    7. When i select number range option for work exp coulmn then whole thing get stuck and i have to recreate table, is it bcz i did not change it as integer or float?

    Hello again rakesh.

    Unfortunately, I cannot open the link you provided:

    7475514916.png

    As for removing the search from the select box - that can be done with some custom CSS, but I doubt it'll speed anything up, because it just hides it:

    .wpdt-c .bs-searchbox {
    display: none !important;
    }

    You can always put the check-boxes in a modal, so it opens a different window when you click on the filter button.

    Now, to answer your questions:

    1. There is no official limit to the number of rows or columns displayed from Excel file as an external file source, but depending on that number - the table in wpDataTables will start loading slowly, and at one point it will simply not generate. This is because creating a table from an external data source is not a server-side table, so it's pulling all the data from the file, and after a certain amount of data it will simply break. Better option would be to either convert that file in SQL format or import in using the third option when creating the table.

    2. As we are using Envato as the marketplace for selling the product, their licensing policies apply: https://codecanyon.net/licenses/terms/regular

    Their policy in general is: one license is per one domain or project.

    If your multiple sites are sub-sites of the same domain, and apply to the same project, you can use one license.

    If these are installed on different domains, and are different projects, you would need a separate license per each.

    3. Powerful Filters is a paid add-on for wpDataTables which enables cascade filtering, so in short - they are the same thing, yes.

    4. If I understood the question correctly, you'd like the filter drop-down to show only a limited amount of data, with an option to extend it to more? If that's true, I'm sorry to inform you that something like this is not possible. You can open the column settings, go to the "Data" tab and choose the "Number of possible values to load" to limit the amount of data shown in the drop-down.

    5. Editing tables from mobile devices shouldn't be disabled, and you should be able to modify it with no issues.

    6. To move the filters in the header (above the columns), you need to open settings and click on "Render advanced filter" drop-down, and choose "In the header":

    Please note, though, that for this to take effect, you need to disable the "Filters in a form" slider, in the table settings:

    2607793771.png

    7. Yes, the number range slider has to have Integer or Float type column for it to work.

    Best regards.
