On behalf of a client I have a few questions about your plugin which I was hoping you could help me answer.
The process in which I want to create a bookable system is as follows: 1. The client creates/utilises a separate calendar in their Google Account 2. When the client has free time in a day, they will create events in their Google Calendar, this will then need to sync to the appointment booking system to display as available.
I noticed a lot of the 2-way sync booking plugins require the client to have events in their calendar, and then it sees these events as the client being unavailable at that time - however I'd like to do the opposite.
Could you please let me know if this would be achievable with your plugin and provide me a guide on how to set this up. I will be embedding the plugin on a WordPress website.
Unfortunately this is not possible. Our plugin works in the same way, once the employee creates events in the calendar the calendar sees those events like unavailable time slots.
You can only achieve this without Google Calendar. You can make profile at the back-end for your employees and then give them the access to their profile to add special days. They can they delete the general working hours and just create events each time when they are available for booking. The Amelia will see just those special days (hours) as available and it will mark other days/hours as unavailable for booking.
You can try this option on our demo site here, just go to the employees page, open one employee, delete his working hours and create special day.
