do you have to be an Admin user to see wpdatatables on your dashboard ?
I'd like Editor users to be able to add and edit tables but when I create an Editor user they can't see the option. I tried using the Members plugin to create a new role but don't see any options to include wpdatatabes ?
I eventually found another ticket that seems to answer the question - Admin role required because WPDT gives access to databases. I have created a new user role using the MEMBERS plugin, to grants access to Manage Options. That appears to work OK but I presume might also expose some other Dashboard features we may not wish to be seen?
Well, yeah, if you granted an admin-level access then the user would have full administrator access to the dashboard. You can take a look at Roles and Capabilities on WordPress Codex site.
But anyway, using User Role Editor (a free user role plugin) or any other Membership plugin should allow you to manually set up what each user can see and access. I'm guessing it's just a matter of setup at this point.
