We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
hi,
I am an owner of a piano school and this booking system may be helpful for my teachers and students.
I have a few questions before purchase.
Is it possible to create a class on a specific date and time? Students will choose from school’s availability. For instance, class A is provided on Mon. 5:00pm, class B is on Tue. 6:00pm, and so on.
Another question. When an employee creates a schedule on Google Calendar, is it automatically reflects on Amelia?
Thank you for your attention in advance.
Hi Katsufumi,
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
1. Yes, this is possible to set. Each employee can have its own working hours and there you can add multiple periods and assign one or more services to each period. So you can create period on Monday from 5 to 6 and assign class A to it, and create second period from 6 to 7 and assign class B to it. Once you customers choose the class they will see a calendar with available dates and once they click on Monday they will see time to choose.
2. If you or your employees connect their profile with their Google calendar, once they add an event to Google Calendar and set that event to busy, the time slots that are in the same time will automatically be removed from Amelia Calendar, but you should know that those events would not be shown in Amelia calendar, they just affect the free time slots.
Best regards.
Thank you for your answer. It is very helpful
Hi Katsufumi,
You are welcome. If you have more questions please do not hesitate to ask, I will be glad to help.
Best regards.
Thank you.
I just came up with another question. We are doing piano lessons and many times one specific slot is reserved by a student because mostly piano lessons are provided weekly. Is it possible to assign one slot for a student, like Monday 4:00pm is for the student A every week?
Hi Katsufumi,
Unfortunately Recurring appointments are not supported at the moment. However, this feature is one of the most requested ones and we plan to work on it in the future versions.
Best regards.
