Hi, I have 2 language site with WPML. I want to translate services in second language but can't see such an option. Is Amelia compatible with WPML? And if the answer is Yes - where I can read about it
Hi ddanova,
Thank you for your purchase.
if you need multi-languages you can use WPML just you need to know that email and sms notifications are currently just on English language. However we will work on this in the future versions. Also, we have Spanish and French translation in our plugin, for Portuguese you would need to use some third party plugins such Loco Translate or Poedit and translate the plugin.
Words can be changed using POEDIT or Loco Translate for example very easily. I suggest you to install Loco Translate and then to translate these strings.
If you want to use POEDIT then this is an instruction(example for french):
1. Download the Amelia plugin from CodeCanyon and save the .zip file on your computer.
2. Uznip downloaded .zip file.
3. You need to download and install POEDIT.
4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.
5. Translate all the strings that are not translated or translate strings like you need
6. Save the translation.
7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/ folder and copy these two files called wpamelia-fr_FR.po and wpamelia-fr_FR.mo back to your website in the location ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/.
In this example we used French translate.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hi Bogdan,
Thank You for response, but I want to translate service. I mean - I have service with name 1 hour session, and I want to translate this name, I don't ask how to translate plugin words.
If I have regular post or page I click one button for translation with WPML and now I have new post in second language. But when I go to Amelia -> Services I see 1 service and I can't find how to change it's name in second language.
HI ddanova,
Sorry for misunderstanding.
Unfortunately the names of the services are not translatable by the wpml at the moment but we will work on adding this feature for the future update of the plugin which is planned to be soon.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
