Yes we understand your need but, Unfortunately at the moment it is not possible to insert Coupon Code from back-end. What you can do (not perfect of course) make one category where you will make services with discount price(if original price was 50$, then this will be $30 depends on of your discount(Coupon)). Like this when you made appointments from back-end you will use those service with smaller price depends on of that what you set for that Coupon.
Please note that if you are using ameliabooking shortcode those service will be available also for online customers so you need to change to show only service that you set, or just specific category...
We constantly strive to make our product better, and deliver the most value for our end users - so if this workaround will not help you please share your feedback on what features you need in next versions on this link.
I use the Step by Step Booking version and it wasn't possible to only show specific categories in this version when I first set everything up. But apparently this changed (?). So I will try to set everything as you suggested and am happy to use this workaround.
From version 1.3.3 are implemented new shortcode options: [ameliabooking category=ID], [ameliabooking service=ID], [ameliabooking employee=ID], [ameliabooking location=ID], [ameliasearch today=1], [ameliacatalog employee=ID], [ameliacatalog location=ID], and many other combinations.
You can read more about that in our documentation on
I am glad that you are satisfied with our workaround. Yes you can hide also that service and show it and use it only when you need it for back-end appointments. Nice job!
Dear Amelia Team,
I am wondering if it is somehow possible to apply a Coupon Code even if I create a booking for my client via Amelia back end?
I would love to be able to do this so that I can offer clients reductions even if I arrange the appointment with them in person or on the phone.
Maybe I just haven't found the correct setting?
Thanks
Johanna

Hi Milan,
thanks for getting back to me.
Thanks for presenting an alternative solution.
I use the Step by Step Booking version and it wasn't possible to only show specific categories in this version when I first set everything up. But apparently this changed (?). So I will try to set everything as you suggested and am happy to use this workaround.
Thank you

Just implemented the new "hidden" services. I guess this will do. Thanks again!
