Hello! Amazing plugin and will save me about $100 a year by not having to pay a scheduling company.
I do have a question though. I am a consultant for web design. I do all in person meetings at client's location. Is there anyway to have the client enter their location??
There is not built in feature like customer location but I can suggest you to take a look at this link from our documentation where you can see how you can setup the custom fields.
With the custom field you can tell your customer to enter their location so you will have information of it.
Wow thank you so much for the quick reply! Thank you for the link too that helps tremendously. So to execute this properly then I shouldn't create ANY locations and then use the custom fields for that info?
Also I guess I would need to customize the notification email also?
When using custom fields and make that field mandatory, customers must enter their address in that custom field.
So when they enter the location, that location will be saved as a custom filed.
Then in the email notifications you can use that custom filed if you want it to display in the email.
You can use the placeholder custom_field to paste it in the email and the data that is entered in that custom filed will be displayed in the email ( attachment)
In this case you will know which location is it.
Here is the link where you can have more information for this feature for emails.
If you like our plugin and support we'd greatly appreciate it if you could take a minute and leave a Review on CodeCanyon on this link. It means a lot to us.Thanks!
Ugh sorry 1 more question. I was following the directions using WP Control plugin so that it'll send out the reminders and follow ups. And got this error:
There was a problem spawning a call to the WP-Cron system on your site. This means WP-Cron events on your site may not work. The problem was: Unexpected HTTP response code: 429
I have the site on GoDaddy Managed WordPress I'm PRAYING that's not the problem.
For this case when the error says that the cron job may not work the best solution unfortunately is to contact your host and ask them to see if the issue is on their side.
Yeps its the Managed WordPress. I did a temporary install on my cPanel account and installed the plugin. Adding the WP Control plugin and then the Cron event worked perfectly without errors. Dang. Oh well at least I know and can now move it from managed wordpress to my cPanel =)
