Hi, nice plugin! I’m having problem though… I’m trying to create a 20-30 columns table using the manual feature in the constructor, but when i try to enter the first row, it says that the database table doesn’t exist… when i do the same (as a test) with just 4 columns, everyhing works fine.
I checked in phpmyadmin and in fact, it doesn’t creates this table, just the other one with few columns… i checked wpdatatables_columns too and everything is there, the 49 columns names…
I have already uninstalled the plugin and deleted all data from the database (MySQL). Afterwards reinstalled - but it still does not work.
I am sorry, but I couldn't recreate the issue on my end. I created a manual table with 31 columns, filled each with some random data, and it all saved correctly.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I logged in, and saw the issue. So I decided to create a table manually adding one by one column. Turns out that columns "Austrittsgrund" and "Routenplaner" are the ones causing the error, and I don't know why honestly.
When I set the "Austrittsgrund" column to be Single-value select-box it showed an error when I tried to add a new entry, so I added it as column "XX" and changed the display name; I also set it to be One-Line String, and it allowed me to add new entries. So after that, I just changed it to Single-value select-box and added those two values and it's now working normally.
Same goes for "Routenplaner" - It gave me an error when I added it as URL column, but when I set it to string, and then changed it to URL - no issues.
Very strange behavior, I must say, so I forwarded it to our development team to see if there's anything they can do to fix it. Until then, the new table should work fine. Just delete the existing entries and enter some new to verify it's working.
