I see that the end user can hide columns in the table. However, I can't see that the end user can change the order of the columns in wpDataTables. Can this be done and if not, when could it be available?
We are located in Serbia and our working time is from 10:00 to 17:00 CET. business days.
Unfortunately at the moment there’s no built-in solution. However, it appears in requests from time to time, so we will add to our idea list and look into some possible solutions on plugin side in the future.
Thanks. Do you know what time frame you are looking at reviewing being able to move the order of the columns? Do you know if a third party developer could do that for us?
Like I explain you in previous post when we get a lot of request for some feature from time to time it will be added on our TO DO list and look into some possible solutions in the future. I can't tell you exactly when it will be or whether it will be at all.
We have our customization service, but unfortunately, at the moment we don't have available developers which can do this customization for you, because there is a lot of priority task that have to be done.
Thanks for that. In your opinion what do you think would be the best way to do this with changing order of columns - Add-on; or In the child theme as a template?

Depends on of developer what is the easy way to implement this feature. Directly in plugin, as add on or some custom script... Our practice so far was to give a customer what choice is better for him(directly in plugin or as add on- price is different of course) and add on is much better because of future updates.
