Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: Our team will be out of the office on Monday, November 11th in observance of Armistice Day, but don’t worry—we'll be back in full swing on Tuesday, November 12th.

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find tons of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel), which might just have the answers you need while we’re away.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Warm regards,

TMS

    The width of the right column is only as wide as the text in it. There is no padding on it like the other columns.  It does not matter if there are 3 or 4 columns it still happens. How can I fix this?

    Hello Ding58.

    Thank you for your purchase.

    I apologize, but I don't quite understand what you're trying to say. Can you show us some screenshots of the issue?

    You can enable "limit table width" and "word wrap" sliders in "display" settings of that table, for content to fit in a screen and to wrap inside the cells, if that's what you mean (see attachment).

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,

    See the attached.  The column background is in black.  Notice that the right most column changes in width depending on the cell content.  It only happens on the right most column.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi again Ding58.

    I see.

    I can only guess at this point, since there are a few things that could go wrong here. The first thing that comes to mind is either a theme or a plugin conflict with either WordPress 5 or wpDataTables, but again can't be sure without the website or remote access.

    You can try this:

    .wpdt-c td.column-your_column_name {
    float: none !important;
    }

    Can you please provide me with either a link to the page where this happens, or even better - a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Also, please make sure to provide the table ID, so I know where to look.

    Best regards.

    I tried pasting in your code and clicking on Apply but it doesn't want to save the change.  This is another problem that I am having.  The other problems that I am having in addition to this one are:

    1.  I get Installation Failed when I tried to install the product.

    2. Clicking on Apply does not save the changes 90% if the time.

    3.  Everything locks up when I am using SQL.

    4. Column width problem that you are working on.

    Could any of these other problems be the cause of the column width problem. I have only had this product for 3 days.  Is there any way I could get my money back?

    Hello again Ding58.

    Most of these problems indicate a compatibility issue with another plugin or the theme you're using. That's why providing me with a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens would be the best way to go about this, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

    Please find our refund policy here: http://wpdatatables.com/help/refund-policy/

    Due to the digital 'non-returnable' nature of goods we only do refunds when the tool is malfunctioning or not working as described, with prior confirmation that support is unable to resolve the issue. As the revoked license does not make the product non-functional, and because there were lots of abuses, unfortunately we cannot provide the 'return-on-request' refund policy. So we do not refund mistaken purchases, or cases when buyers had their own expectations of features.

    To avoid such situations we have a fully-featured 'sandbox' site where one can try plugin's features before purchase, a free version of the plugin which can help to get a better understanding of how the plugin is working, all the plugin's documentation is available to anyone before purchase, and we try to clear up all the limitations of different features, and we always answer all pre-purchase questions clearly and honestly so that potential buyers would have clear understanding of how the plugin works.

    Best regards.
