Hey there, Awesome Customers!
Just a heads up: Our team will be out of the office on Monday, November 11th in observance of Armistice Day, but don’t worry—we'll be back in full swing on Tuesday, November 12th.
In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find tons of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel), which might just have the answers you need while we’re away.
Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!
Warm regards,
TMS
I guys,I have a simple excel document that I would like to use, however, my document has if statements and drop downs. Does this plugin include IF statements and if so, how can I learn how to use them.
Hello Joshua.
Thank you for your purchase.
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
When you use a file as an external file source, wpDataTables only reads the values, and it doesn't copy any formatting, formulas, merged cells, etc. Same goes for importing those files.
If that Excel file doesn't contain any confidential info, could you please send it to us, so that we can look for any workarounds for you?
You can attach it to your reply, just make sure you enable the PRIVATE slider, since this ticket is public; so that it is only visible to us.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hello again Joshua.
After taking a look at these two files, I am sorry to inform you that it's impossible to create tables from these files.
Our plugin can only accept simple tables without formulas. You'd need to create a simple table and then use formula columns and calculation functions to make it resemble these two tables. Also, you'd probably need Powerful Filters for those dropdowns, that'd enable cascade filtering and create tables similar to these.
I am sorry for any inconvenience.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
