    Hello !

I would like to know what is the best way to tick hours off : in the case of www.annesophie-hayek.ch, my client is working alone (so no colleague to substitute her). If she is unavailable for a medical appointment let say (so something which is neither recurrent nor lasting a full day), we don't see a simple way to remove the shift in question from Amelia. We only find a way to take the full day off which is obviously not possible - so we take fake appointments in order to make the shift unavailable (which looks a bit DIY solution ;) Problem : in the case of a workshop (up to 3 persons) we need to take 3 fake appointments from 3 different email addresses for the shift to disappear from Amelia. What is the correct way to proceed in this situation ?

Thanks a lot for your help,

    Roxanne

    Hi Roxanne,
    Thank you for your purchase.

From version 1.4 it is possible to add multiple periods during the day and set a different set of services for each period so you can configure more flexible service schedule for your employees. On the right side of each period, you will see an option for selecting the services. You can select one, two or all services and those services will be provided by your employee just in that period. So, for example, you can set Cardio training from 10am to 12pm, and a Yoga class from 7pm to 8pm.

    Hi Milan,

Well this doesn't answer my question, right ?
I am talking about special event, (for exemple medical appointment) that are neither regular nor taking a full day.

    Hi Roxanne,

Sorry for misunderstanding, you mean on Special days?

If answer is yes then it is possible with our plugin. We have this feature.

Special Days – This feature allows you to set one or multiple days in which your employee will have different working hours and/or provide different services. Whether you need to set shorter or longer working hours for just one day or a period, or set a different service for one specific day or a whole week, here you can do all of this. Once you set it, it will override employee’s general working hours and service schedule but it will not override the days off. Click on the “Add Special Day” button and new options will appear. In Date option choose a date or a range of dates, then set one or multiple periods of time with working hours and choose one or multiple services for each of them in the Service option. After you configure the special schedule, click on the “Save Special Day” button and this schedule will be applied.

Please take a look in our documentation where you can find all plugin features, information's and video tutorials on this link.

    Best regards.

    Hello Milan,
Thanks, indeed it's what I need.

I don't have the option tho, because I still have Amelia 1.4 - and now is 1.4.3, right ? My concern : I can't do an automatic update from WP, I have to go on Envato, download the Amelia files, and upload them on my website manually. Do you guanrantee that if I do that, all my settings will remain ? (future appointments, translations, employees, services settings and so forth ?) Almost there, Thanks !

    Hi Roxanne,

Yes you will not lose your data becasue they are already saved in database.

My suggestion is to update the plugin manually by following these steps:

We didn't release auto update yet, but you can update the plugin manually by following these steps:

1.) Download zip from this link

2.) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins

    3.) Delete existing ameliabooking folder.

4.) Upload previously downloaded ameliabooking folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)

5.)  Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section.

6.) Deactivate Amelia Plugin, and then activate it again.

7.) Clear server and browser cache

If you are using hosting on wordpress.com or you update plugin over WordPress Plugins page then follow those instructions:

1.) Download zip from this link

2.) Delete Amelia plugin from WordPress Plugins page

    3) Click on Add new on Plugins page

    4) Click on Upload plugin on Plugins page

5.) Choose previously downloaded ameliabooking zip file

6.) When uploading is done, please Activate Amelia plugin

7.) Clear server and browser cache

Please note that deleting plugin from Plugins page of the WordPress you WILL NOT lose your data because it is already saved in database.

    Best regards.
