In the picture attached, I can see the flags very well placed in the same columns as its names. I want to achieve that result but I do not see how and none of your documentation shows that.
Can you give me the instruction to achieve that please?
Now my concern is that my table is linked to Google Spreadsheet so the data is being updated to the website dynamically. Will this work well even though altering one column to insert the images?
Yeah, you just have to make sure the content of cells in Google Spreadsheet is in the same format like I entered in the previous reply. Then, in wpDataTables - if that column is set to "String", it should work just fine.
There are no issues when you add content to existing columns, but please bear this in mind:
Once you create a table from a Google Spreadsheet, changes in the core file from which a table is created, like:
Changing the column’s name,
Changing the column’s order,
Deleting the column, and
Adding a new column.
are highly not recommended, because the old table will not work, at the moment. If you make any of these changes, please recreate the table again.
I have tested to the tables created manually and went well. However the table I want to add flags is linked to google spreadsheet and there is no option to edit each row. Is there a workaround?
When you use the first option to create the table (Create a table linked to an existing data source), you can't edit those tables because they are linked to an existing file, so wpDataTables are being used to only view the content.
If you want to be able to modify those entries, you have to import the Google Spreadsheet (third option when you create a table), but then those changes won't be displayed in the Google Spreadsheet.

Hello again Nelson.
To add images like this, the column needs to be set as "String", and then you can insert content like this:
And for Stellar:
Now, I just used some images I found on Google, but you get the concept - <img src="URL_Link_to_image" height="user_defined"> Custom text</img>
The output looks like this:
I hope this helps.
Best regards.
