Hi, is there a way to have two tables displayed on a single page. And, have the second table filtered with the row data selected in the first table?
For example, the first table might be customers, and the second table orders. If I select a customer in first table, it will update(filter) the second table to only show all orders from that customer.
Sorry to disappoint you but unfortunately global filter for all tables on the page is something that is not possible to achieve, each table have their own search filed and it is not possible to filter on one search and bot tables will be filtered based on that search.
With a free version it’s possible to display multiple tables on the same page, but not possible to use filtering.
With the premium one it is possible with a little bit of customization – or just with use of a selectbox or checkbox filter. Please check out our demo site for details https://wpDataTables.com/documentation
and I did not succeed with the filters as indicated by your colleague ... thanks I'll have to find another tool regards
