Hi once more. I would like to have a local Excel spreadsheet coded to programatically request a download from a table. Is there any URL that will allow a table download of any specific data table?
I understand how to get a copy using the download tools. What I have done tho in the past is be able to write VBA code in XL to get this information without visiting the website and manually clicking the download button.
I have coded a spreadsheet today that 'scrapes' the page for table data. This works ok, but to explain my question , here is a link that the plugin GravityForms uses to download data via a URL. This plugin is called 'Gravity Forms Entries in Excel'
Gravity Forms integration addon is working with a wpDataTables plugin and a core Gravity Forms plugin. However, integration with other Gravity Forms addons isn’t confirmed, so we cannot guarantee that it will work.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

Can you please explain me a little more what are you trying to achieve because I did not quire understand.
If you want to download the look of the table as excel you can use the table tools feature, more information on this link.
