I love the ability (toggle switch) to SHOW columns in desktop, tablet, or mobile. And how the + plus sign shows up to see the columns show up in the "group going vertical". really GOOD!
HOWEVER, we need the ability to SHOW or NOT show in the desktop row and SHOW or NOT show the mobile view...
Those 2 need to work independently, not yes or no for both locations.
I want a column to NOT show in the desktop column [because the horizontal bar shows up), BUT DO SHOW in the mobile group. Currently, unless I'm wrong, that cannot happen :(
First thing that I suggest you to do is to look at the video from our documentation to see how you can make columns collapsible on desktops, by increasing the width of the tablet devices in settings page.
Then for the column that you want to hide only on desktop but show in mobile, just check Hide on tablets option. (attachment)
In this case that column will not be visible on desktops/tablets but it will be visible on mobiles.
reasons why: column on either device can be too big, too wide, BUT BECAUSE the plus + sign gives the details in a vertical group, you can give more details :) FYI> I really love that feature!!! its very nice. I just want more control of it ;)
Sorry to disappoint you but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin build in features at the moment and it requires some code customization of the plugin. We can offer you our paid customization service where you can hire one of our developers to implement this feature for you. The price is $50 per hour.
If you're interested, please let us know, so I can forward the request to our development team, and see if they have the time to implement this.
Can you please provide me with the credentials for the website where you want to implement this. Also, tell me which table needs to hide that column on desktop; which column needs to be hidden.
As much detail as you can provide, please.
You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

is there a way to make this happen?
thanks!
Hi Larry,
Thank you for your purchase.
Ok here is the workaround.
First thing that I suggest you to do is to look at the video from our documentation to see how you can make columns collapsible on desktops, by increasing the width of the tablet devices in settings page.
Then for the column that you want to hide only on desktop but show in mobile, just check Hide on tablets option. (attachment)

Best regards.

maybe I didn't ask the right question:
I want to hide in desktop and mobile columns, but show the column ONLY when the "plus sign" is clicked on mobile.
The current settings don't handle the above idea.
I'm making a distinction between:
"showing the table column"
VS
"only showing the data field in the vertical group when plus sign clicked" AND still not showing the column in the table on mobile
do you see see the difference?
thanks
Hi Larry,
So as i understand you want for that column to be completely hidden on desktop and mobile.
But only on mobile can be shown when you click on + sign.
Correct me if I did not understand you correctly.
Best regards.

question... is this a single, hardcoded solution for 1 table, 1 column?
or a general solution that I can reused?
PS. its the same site we had worked on in the past month (remember the global search issue) :)
