We were wondering if it were possible to give an option for customers to leave a deposit (say 20% or 30%) at the time of booking to lock in their date/time. Then to be able to pay the balance when they arrive?
Right now, the only options we have are:
- Pay the full amount online - Pay the full amount on site
We are located in Serbia and our working time is from 10:00 to 17:00 CET. business days.
Well there is no built in feature, but there is some workaround. For example if your service cost 20$ and if you want to set deposit of 20% to pay online and rest onsite, you can make service where you will set price of 4$ (which is 20% of 20$) and then explain in service title and description how much is the real price of this service.
That was the work-around I was thinking, too. But it makes the entire checkout process a little clumsy - especially with how we set up our reservation services (our services are set up as "Length of Stay" blocks).
Would this be something we can fund as a customization to the plugin, that can be rolled out to all plugin users? What would be an estimate of that cost?
Unfortunately, at the moment we don't have available developers which can do this customization for you, because there is a lot of priority task for new features.
