We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hi

I have purchased the plugin and am very happy except for one thing. After creating a table from an XL file, , I will need to periodically import new data via an XL or .csv file and append it to the current data. I can't see anywhere that will allow me to set up this option. Can you help?

    Regards
    Georg

    Hello Georg.

    Thank you for your purchase.

When you create a table using the first option (Create a table linked to an existing data source), wpDataTables is used only to display the values from an external source (Excel, CSV, Google Spreadsheet) and it cannot be edited. If you make changes in the source file - it will be shown in the table. However, please note that this file is being stored in the Media Library of your WordPress site, so if you upload a file from your desktop - changing something in that file wouldn't affect the contents of the table created by our plugin. Instead, you need to access the file in ../wp-content/uploads/YEAR/MONTH/your_file.xlsx and then the changes will be visible.

Please note: Once you create a table from an Excel file, changes in this file, like:

    • Changing the column’s name,
    • Changing the column’s order,
    • Deleting the column, and
    • Adding a new column.

are highly not recommended, because the table in the wpDataTable plugin will not work, at the moment. If you make any of these changes, please recreate the table again.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,

    Aleksandar Vuković
