We have recently purchased the wpDataTables plugin and had faced for several times the same error while plugin activation on the admin panel.
What we did:
1. We installed the plugin via native WP downloader.
2. Pressed Activate button in the plugins' list and get the same error each time we tried again. Error text is as mentioned:
The error text is: THe plugin have not been activated because of a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '.', expecting '&' or variable (T_VARIABLE) in /var/www/vhosts/v-1992.webspace/www/bikom.kz/wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/lib/markbaker/complex/classes/src/operations/add.php on line 17
What we are going to do now and how we can we can resolve this issue, cherti?

Can you please update the PHP version to 5.6.
Our plugin requires minimum version of PHP 5.6, but we recommend updating to 7 or more.
