Hi I use wp datatables to create a price grid for a French real estate website. I created a css class to customize my text. The class works. When I put the same class in conditional formatting that does not work. Can you help me ? I would like that when the availability column text is reserved or sold the line changes color. I enclose screenshots screens
I also use the grouped column function to gather all the identical slots in a subheading how can I assign a color to this line? Thank you Regards
Can You please tell me what this means: "définir la classe CSS de la ligne"? If it means to set the row CSS class, I'm guessing that's why it doesn't work.
If You'd like to apply the custom class to a cell, You can keep the current CSS class, but if You want to apply it to a row, You need to change td.text to tr.text. Otherwise, under Conditional Formatting, please change from Set Row CSS Class to Set Cell CSS Class and it should work as it is.
If You want to assign a specific color to groupped rows, You can add this CSS class:
Hello Aleksandar Thank you for your answers. it works with tr.text.
By cons .wpdt-c td.group { background-color: # FFFCD7; } does not work. I added this class in the custom CSS and I added the class group in the CSS class of the grouped column but it does not work. How to do ?
I also found that if I write CSS classes starting with a dot in custom Css it does not work. Strange...
I have another problem too: when I put the shortcode in a page of the site it works. but when i put the same shortcode in a custom field create with type toolset it does not work. Is there a solution ?
I use WordPress 4.9.9 Elemetor pro and toolset type and view
If You enable column grouping, You don't need to add custom CSS class to that column. Our plugin creates the td.group class by itself.
Please take a look at the attachments to see how it looks in one of my local tables. As You can see, there is no CSS class added to the grouping column.
I know that there have been some issues with Elementor, and website builders, but I don't know if they apply here.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
If so, I believe the issue is with the jQuery version - wpDataTables use the WordPress's built in version 1.12 and this plugin may be using a newer one. Unfortunately, if this is the case we cannot change it any time soon, and this plugin may have to be deactivated in order to use wpDataTables on that page.

Hello Aleksandar
Super it works for grouped columns.
Do you find a solution for the problem generated by the shortcode when used in a custom field create with Toolset Type.
Thank you
Best regards.
Hi Harold.
I'm glad we got it to work.
As for Toolset Type - You're referring to the Toolset Type plugin, correct?
If so, I believe the issue is with the jQuery version - wpDataTables use the WordPress's built in version 1.12 and this plugin may be using a newer one. Unfortunately, if this is the case we cannot change it any time soon, and this plugin may have to be deactivated in order to use wpDataTables on that page.
I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Best regards.
