We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I uploaded the plugin files to the Plugins directory. When I try to activate it I get the following message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '.', expecting '&' or variable (T_VARIABLE) in /var/www/vhosts/day10.net/cvlnew.day10.net/wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/lib/markbaker/complex/classes/src/operations/add.php on line 17
I managed to activate the plugin successfully after I upgraded php to V7.2.14
Hello Mike.
Thank You for Your purchase.
I'm glad You solved the issue. That, in fact, was the error message indicating - a PHP version not compatible with the plugin.
If you have any more issues or questions feel free to open a new ticket, we will gladly help.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

I am having the same error. I am using PHP v5.4, which I believed to be adequate for this plugin. The highest version I can upgrade to is v5.6 with GoDaddy. What is the lowest version of PHP that wpdatatables is compatible with?
Thanks,
Chris
Hi Chris.
I see You've opened a new ticket, so I'll answer Your question there as well.
Our plugin requires minimum version of PHP 5.6, but we recommend updating to 7 or more.
Best regards.

Thanks for the quick response. I did have version 5.6 but it was still having some issues. I believe it was because I tried to install directly over the Lite version. Even when I uninstalled Lite and installed the standard version, it was giving me problems. I physically deleted the folder through ftp, reinstalled, and it finally activated correctly.
