Hello,
I would like to translate Amelia with Poedit. But I am afraid I will loose all my datas (services, meetings, settings) if I delete Amelia and download it again, once the translation completed.
Is that right ?
By the way, the translation I need is actually missing : in French "local time" remains "local time" instead of "heure locale".
Thanks !!
Hi roxanneborloz,
Thank you for your purchase.
Words can be changed using POEDIT or Loco Translate for example very easily. I suggest you to install Loco Translate and then to translate these string.
If you want to use POEDIT then this is an instruction:
1. Download the Amelia plugin from CodeCanyon and save the .zip file on your computer.
2. Uznip downloaded .zip file.
3. You need to download and install POEDIT.
4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.
5. Translate all the strings that are not translated
6. Save the translation.
7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/ folder and copy these two files called wpamelia-fr_FR.po and wpamelia-fr_FR.mo back to your website in the location ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/.
Hope this helps
If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Best regards.

Hello Milan.
Thanks, I was able to do the translation with Loco Translate.
My last question, hours show that way : 10 hh 00
> how could I change this (with Loco Translate again) so it shows 10 h 00 or 10:00
I wasn't able to find any "hh" in the String list, only a "h" but nothing changed when I tried to "translate it".
Thanks!
Hi roxanneborloz,
You are welcome.
Just change the time format on the WordPress General Settings and it will be applied in Amelia as well. Please take a look at our documentation page to read more about how to change date & time formats - Configuring WordPress Date/Time Settings in the Amelia WordPress Booking Plugin.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic
