we are wanting to restrict the timeframe in which customers can cancel and reschedule their appointments due to terms and conditions. I can't seem to see this option, where can I find this?
We have our customers pay when booking so this means that will cause a lot of transactions to monitor with cancelling, then refunds and then them rebooking. We also would prefer no cancellation but option to reschedule within 48hrs.
This is a major piece of the booking structure so it may mean we can't use this now?
You can find our refund policy here. We will certainly add an option for customers to reschedule the appointments so it would be great if you could stay with us to try and see whether that will suit your needs.

It depends on the update, sometimes it takes one week, sometimes several weeks, we give our best to have updates regularly. Currently we are preparing 1.4.2 release and we can work on this feature for 1.4.3 release, so it should not be too long, and we will give our best to be as soon as possible.
Yes, we have added this option for single appointments. So now the customers can reschedule their single appointments in their Calendar by drag and drop or Edit option. Once they begin with dragging the calendar shows the available time slots for that service, so they can see them right away.
We have fixed this issue at the moment by connecting rescheduling option with Minimum time required before booking, since rescheduling is something like booking again. This fix will be included in our next version. In the future we will keep an eye on this feature to see if there is a need to implement a new option for this, separate from the Minimum time required before booking.
Thanks, This will help for now however there is a big different between people wanting to book last minute to creating guidelines around rescheduling an appointment last minute for instance we want rescheduling to be within 12hr before booking but for new bookings they can book up to 2hrs, so yes please keep this in mind for new updates.
I have added this feature on our To Do list, so we can reconsider it for one of the future updates. We will probably think about this more once we implement the front-end booking cabinet which is also on our To Do list and planned for the near future.

You can set that in the Amelia settings-> General settings ( attachment)
There you will see the option to set

Thank you for your response it's helpful. What about rescheduling? Would this mean they cancel and rebook?
We want to ensure if they need to reschedule the consult they have given the required time.

Unfortunately we do not have an option for rescheduling the appointment at the moment.
If the user cancels the appointment he will need to book it again and you will also have that limit which you previously configured in the settings.

I understand you and also agree that this use case is really important but unfortunately with the current version of our plugin this is not possible.
I forwarded this to my team and they said me that we will work to include this in some next updates of the plugin.
