hello,
ALL is good with the SQL statement and the search box (mysql type), UNLESS I add this one string field:
When I add that field to the SQL statement, the search doesn't work. It returns no records.
SO that concat function breaks the global search function (top of the table).
NOTE: the widget filter search still works, but the global search does not
HOW TO FIX?
to recap:
WORKING: Select field1, field2, field3 From table
NOT working: Select <insert above code>, field1, field2, field3 From table
thanks
Hello Lary.
When You add CONCAT, or JOIN or anything else other than a simple SELECT * FROM query, the result may be just as You described - search doesn't work, or filters don't work, or similar issues.
This is where You'd need to create a VIEW for the table to function properly.
Please try this and let me know if the issue is resolved.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
