    Dear Support,

I've dowloaded the latest 1.4 version of Amelia, and copied the files via FTP. Now I have the latest plugin, but I have lost:

    -all appointments

    -all employee

    -all services

    -all service categories

    -all settings, mails, etc.

I'm 'a little bit' disappointed. How is it possible? I did not touch the database, just copied the latest files to wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking

It is a live site, we've lost all appointments, and it will take days of work to recreate all the services, employee, settings, etc.

Please help, what can I do, to have my settings back?

    Thank you,

    Csaba

    Hi webstilo,

The data is certainly there because only way to delete data is over plugin pages (Employees, Services...) or directly from DB.
Can you clear the cache (cache plugin and browser cache) and see if problem is solved.

If that's not the case, please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Hi Zeljko,

Thank you for your fast answer. Yes, the data is there, I've checked them via phpMyAdmin, and all the Amelia tables are there. Therefore I've copied the old plugin files via FTP, and now everything is fine, all the data and settings are back. I don't think that it's a cache problem, because we have several employee and none of them saw Amelia data with the latest version of the plugin, and we don't use cache plugin.

So everything works for now, but we don't have the latest version of the plugin.

I only overwrote the newer or bigger files during the update, that could cause that problem? What is the correct way to update the plugin? Maybe I should try to delete old files completely, and copy new files instead of overwrite them?

    Thank for your support,

    Csaba

    Hi Csaba,

We can update the plugin to version 1.4, and check if everything is fine, just tell us what time does it suits for you that we update the plugin?

Most probably this is the cache problem, which we will resolve for the next update, but maybe it's not so it would be the best that we can update directly on your website and check what is happening.
