    Hi !

I received an email from CodeCanyon explaining a new update was available for the Amelia plugin. I don't see where to update it in Wordpress, should I download it directly in my CodeCanyon downloads ? Is there any risk that it downloads a new Amelia plugin that will not take into account all the parameters I have done so far ?

    Thank you !

    Hi Roxane,

Yes, we have released a new version.

Auto update will be released soon, we wait for example 4-5 days after the release and then we release the auto update to avoid any issues but in the meantime you can manually update the plugin.

When downloading the new plugin version from CodeCanyon, please follow these steps to update manually from the existing version:

    1. Go to your FTP and open WordPress plugins folder

    2. Delete the old Amelia version folder

    3. Upload the new version of Amelia

    4. Go to WP-admin panel, and open the Plugins section

    5. Deactivate Amelia, and then activate it again

There is no risk and all your parameters will be saved, just do exactly the same steps as explained above.

    Best regards.

    Hi Isidora,

    Thank you for your answer.

Has the auto update been released yet ?

Because I am not a professional and I am afraid to do something wrong in my FTP. I do not find the Amelia plugin in the Wordpress file in the FTP, may be because I uploaded it directly from my downloads to the wordpress interface and not in my FTP.

Thank you for your help, and happy new year !

    Hi Roxane,

"Has the auto update been released yet? "

    - Yes it is. Just add the purchase key on Purchase Key settings and you will be offered update on the WordPress Plugins page.

    - Amelia folder should be placed in the wp-content/plugins folder of your website. Can you please check if does it exist there?

    Hi Milos,

    - I do not have the Purchase Key. Do I have to pay for it ? Where can I access it ?

    - Yes I have the same issue in another ticket. I cannot find the Amelia folder in wp-content/plugins. Please watch the video enclosed. If you know where to find it it would be great.

    Thank you,

    Roxane

    Hi Roxane,

"I do not have the Purchase Key. Do I have to pay for it ? Where can I access it ?"

    - No you don't have to pay for it. You can download it here https://codecanyon.net/downloads. By the way your purchase key is 55d72351-08d5-4c92-9a32-c906b0e6a661

"Yes I have the same issue in another ticket. I cannot find the Amelia folder in wp-content/plugins. Please watch the video enclosed. If you know where to find it it would be great."

    - If Amelia is installed on your WordPress, then you are looking at the wrong folder on your FTP. Do you have installed Amelia on your website?

    - Thank you for the Purchase Key. So now, the plugin will auto update without I have anything to do ?

    - Yes I installed Amelia on my Wordpress.

    Hi Roxane,

"Thank you for the Purchase Key. So now, the plugin will auto update without I have anything to do ?"

    - Just add the purchase key on the Purchase Key settings and when there is an update available, you just have to click on Update on the WordPress Plugins page.

"Yes I installed Amelia on my Wordpress"

    - Then you are looking at the wrong folder. Can you please send me your FTP credentials so I can check? Just check the PRIVATE reply, so nobody else can see your credentials.

Hi Milos, yes I finally found it, thank you very much.

As I did not find it before, I tried to change the CSS code of Amelia in Wordpress/plugins/editor and I don't know what happened but my wordpress said the plugin has been disabled. So now I can't find the plugin anymore on my wordpress, it's like it has been deleted and I don't know what to do. It is still in the FTP though and I copied pasted the CSS code in another file before. Can you help me, please ? I am sooo afraid I lost all my configurations...
