Hi, I have multiple licenses for wpDataTables. I just upgraded wpDataTables on one of my sites using the method where I had to FTP the directory to the host server to get it to the correct version. I tried to enter my purchase code, but it isn't saving the code. Since it won't save the purchase code, it also won't allow me to edit or create new tables.
I also tried redownloading from Code Canyon, unzipping the wpdatatables folder and re-FTP'ing it to the host. It still won't save changes to settings, to include purchase code.
In the wp_options table, I filtered on wdt and found the wdtPurchaseCode. It has the correct purchase code stored in the option_value, but still not working. I tried deactivating various other plugins and tried reinstalling WordPress 5.02, but that didn't work either. I did notice that WordPress thinks I have plugins that need updates, but on the plugins page, no plugins need an update.
I reverted back to version 2.2.2 and it works fine. Something with the new version isn't working. Before reverting to the old version, I also tried rolling back versions on WordPress and that didn't work either. Any ideas?
That is really strange. We have tested 2.4 with WordPress 5 and it is working fine both on our end, and have confirmations from our users.
Is there a chance You could provide me with a temporary WordPress admin account and FTP credentials, so that we can remote in and take a look from the inside?
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I logged in and saw the issue. What I noticed, though, is that I wasn't able to switch between the tabs in the main Settings page. After inspection, turns out it had some issues with the bootstrap.
I made some changes in the class.wdttools.php and that issue is now gone (see attachment). You can see Your purchase code now, and You can make changes in the main Settings page.
I also noticed that the formatting of one table (Run Cards) is off for the Show X entries button, so I added this custom CSS:
When You update the plugin (in the future), You'll have to comment the same line of code in the class.wdttools.php file for the changes to take effect.
There was a conflict with the bootstrap files. Many themes and plugins use bootstrap (wpDataTables as well), but usually they use different versions of it so conflicts are possible. That's why we enabled the two sliders in the main Settings menu, so that users can disable it on front-end and back-end.
For some reason, there was a bigger conflict which wouldn't accept simply sliding those OFF, so we had comment that line of code, for the plugin to disregard it.
If you have any more issues or questions feel free to open a new ticket, we will gladly help.
We'd greatly appreciate it if you could take a minute and leave a Review on CodeCanyon on this link. Thanks!

Any idea of what caused the issue?
You're welcome saigtoney. My pleasure.
