We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I'm very interested in your wpDataTables Plugin. Some Questions.....
1. Can I connect to a MSSQL database, or only MYSQL?
2. I like the data display.... can I usethe plugin to enter data?
3. Can I build "forms" for data entry?
4. Can the db storing table data be different from the WP database?
Thanks
HI Clifford J Cox,Thank you for your inquire.
1.
Yes, we have an option to connect to multiple databases.
You can find more information on this link.
2.
You can make editable tables with our plugin where you will be able to add more data in it.

You can also create MySQL tables which will be editable.
3.
Unfortunately something like this is not possible to achieve but we have our edit modals which are used for adding and editing the data in the table.
4.
When you make an editable table, that tables will be saved in your database that you connected with the WordPress, or if you use separate connection ( from the reply number 1) that tables will be saved in the chosen databases.
You can also test all of our plugin features on our sandbox site.
