I have read Bogdan's 2 identical responses to the basic question of how many sites I can use the plug in on. Neither answered the subtle point made in one question i.e. if one develops on one server, can one deploy to another as a final product. The envato license (woffly as it is) suggests yes, but is very very confusing as it seems to think everything is a template.
I would like to ask the same question with a request for more clarification - I want to develop on a local server then when ready for service to transfer onto clients domain. Second follow on point - Client has changed domains twice in last three years - what if, after deployment his domain changes again? (I understand that if it is a subdomain the license is OK -its not that - I am talking about a change of main domain)
Is there any way to change the license from one server/domain to another - is it as simple as deactivating off one site and activating on another?
(actually 2 concurrent permissions would be more sensible as usually one will have a sandbox site and a production site)
Can you please explain if this is possible without referring me to the minefield of the envato licensing small print?
I will try to explain you better how the licensing works.
In your case when you finished the project and move it to the production you can use the same license for project.
If you change the domain and that project will be on the new domain you can still use the same license as long as you delete the project from the old domain.
To make it simple, one license is enough for one "live" project. So in case you need to change the domain and the project remains same then you don't need another license.
If these are installed on different domains, and are different projects, you would need a separate license per each.

Hi john murray,Thank you for your inquire.

Hope this can help.
Best regards.
