    Hi,

I am Roxane and I have just bought the Amelia plugin for my online booking platform. I think it is a great plugin, very easy to use and with good features. I just have some things I can't configure :

    - I did the configuration of Google Calendar, as explained in your documentation. I really need the 2-sync for all my employees. All should be fine but I did a test with my google account, I put myself as an employee and when I create a slot on my google account, it does not appear on the Amelia plugin so it does not appear on my website as well. Do you know how I can manage this ?

    - Related to the previous question : I don't want to put some working hours for my employees, I want them to chose the slot they want on their google calendar. So, should I put nothing in the working hours and let them take their slots on their own Google Calendar ? Will this work ?

    - I just checked the email notifications. I do not like this much the design of the email sent to customers and employees. Is there any possibility to change it ? Adding picture, colours, a different font etc... or is it limited to what is proposed in the writing menu in the Amelia plugin ?

Thank you very much for your help,

    Have a great day !

    Hi Roxane,

With Google Synchronization, all employees entered in the Amelia Plugin can sync their working schedule with their Google Calendar. Each booked appointment will be created in their calendar with the customer added as a participant, but not vice versa.

That means that when you create slot or event in Google calendar it will not appear on the Amelia plugin.

You have option Remove Google Calendar Busy SlotsEnable with which will be removed the busy slots in your employees’ Google Calendars from their work schedules in Amelia. When enabled, time slots from the Amelia Calendar will be removed whenever there is an event in the Google Calendar.

Please note: In order to use 2-way Google synchronization properly your employees should set statuses of the events in their Google calendars as Busy. In that way, time slots occupied by those events will be removed from Amelia calendar.

Unfortunately, at the moment that is not possible with built in features of plugin.  However, it appears in requests from time to time, so we will add to our idea list and look into some possible solutions on plugin side in the future.

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Milan

I do not understand. They can change their timetable from the back-end area but not from the Google Agenda ? I bought the plugin because it mentions 2 ways sync, for me it means that you can synchronise from Amelia plugin back end calendar to the google calendar and from the google calendar to the Amelia plugin calendar. Does it make sense ? Why to name this "2 ways sync" if it synchronises in only one way ?  There is no way to put slots on the google calendar so that they are synchronised to the amelia calendar ?

    Thank you for your help,
