You seem to have a limit of 10 dropdown select choices for both the single and multiple line selection dropdowns. Can this be increased. I need it to be about 25.
I have a Detailed column in my app that requires me to put a template in each record that looks something like this:
Voltage(V): Current(A): Efficiency(%):
When I try to set the default value for this column it always removes the carriage return/linefeed from the value so that it looks like this in the column display:
Voltage(V):Current(A):Efficiency(%):
Is there a way to set a default value into a multi-line text field so that the carriage return/linefeed is not stripped away.
I put the default value as Voltage(V):<br>Current(A):<br>Air Flow(CFM):<br> and it did not show any carriage controls, but then when I manually put a value like this in
Voltage(V): Current(A) Air Flow(CFM):
it works ok but instead of showing a template where values can be added it shows a string which is less appealing.
Our company is located in Serbia, and our working hours are from 10 - 17h CET.
I see the issue, but I have to ask You to provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I created a new table (SUPPORT TEST), by Generating a query to MySQL database (the last option when You're creating a table). I created a query to [wpdatatable id=7] (MySQL table name for editing: wp_wpdatatable_6_1, under Editing tab of [wpdatatable id=7]) and created a copy of Your table for testing purposes.
There, I configured the predefined values for the column "Current Issue" to be "Voltage(V):<br>Current(A):<br>Efficiency(%):" even though if You'd go under "Predefined values", You wouldn't see <br> anywhere, it looks like it is working nonetheless.
In Attachment 1 You can see the table as it appears on the back-end. When I clicked on the third row and selected "Edit", what I typed is shown in Attachment 2 (I was afraid the spaces would cause some issues, but they didn't). And the final result is displayed in Attachment 3.
Now, it looks like You might need to set it up to look the way You want, but it should be working fine.
Please take a look at the table (and use it, of course, if You like the result).
We carefully follow customers requirements and try to implement most of them if they appear in requests from time to time, so we will add to our idea list and look into some possible solutions on plugin side in the future.
I'll see if there is a workaround if I have the time during the next few days, and I'll get back with You if I find a solution that'd work for You.

Hello David.
Thank You for Your purchase.
You can set the Number of possible values to load from the column settings (see attachment).
It is set to 10 by default, but You can change it to 25, 50, 100 and all if You'd like.
Please let me know if this solves Your issue.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Thanks so much Aleksandar
This is perfect.
One more thing that has me a bit confused.
I have a Detailed column in my app that requires me to put a template in each record that looks something like this:
Voltage(V):
Current(A):
Efficiency(%):
When I try to set the default value for this column it always removes the carriage return/linefeed from the value so that it looks like this in the column display:
Voltage(V):Current(A):Efficiency(%):
Is there a way to set a default value into a multi-line text field so that the carriage return/linefeed is not stripped away.
If you look at the first 2 columns in this table http://tccanteen.sunsetbaytechnologies.com/test-select/
You can see the issue.
I put the default value as Voltage(V):<br>Current(A):<br>Air Flow(CFM):<br> and it did not show any carriage controls, but then when I manually put a value like this in
Voltage(V):
Current(A)
Air Flow(CFM):
it works ok but instead of showing a template where values can be added it shows a string which is less appealing.
Thanks for your help.
Dave

Hi again, David.
I think I got it. I just added some conditional formatting under the currentcrissue column settings (see attachment).
Please take a look at it and let me know if You're satisfied with the result.
Best regards.

Got it David.
Let's see if this helps.

Sure thing, David.
I see what You mean, and I completely understand.
Thank You once again for Your understanding.
Best regards.
