We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi
At this point I have spent many hours working out a way to get Nordic skiers on my site to be able to submit on the front end Snow Reports to list on a table for the public to see.
As I understand it, after a user logs in they can add a line to the table, this data can not be edited by others logged in, good. But the public can not see it either on the table once submitted.
WHy? I would have thought once submitted the data could be displayed on my site.
I had to make a new table, and query my first table (as your video suggested) to show everyone's entries to the public.
Is this the way I need to setup the feature? It seems a bit odd. Is there a better way?
Dan
Hello Dan.
Thank You for Your purchase.
The Users can see and edit only own data has the properties exactly like You described in Your question here. So a user can log in and insert their own data, but they will not be able to see and edit other users' data.
You can create two pages, one is for the skiers who input data, and the other one will pull all data and display it for the public. If I understood You correctly, that is exactly how You set it up right now.
That is the only way to go about this for now, but since we carefully follow customers requirements and try to implement most of them if they appear in requests from time to time, we will add this to our idea list and look into some possible solutions on plugin side in the future.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
