Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I see that this is a multi-site, so I cannot see the list of all active plugins.
Could You, please, tell me which plugins You have installed and active? And, if it's not too much of a trouble, could You disable one at a time, and see when the page displays correctly?
When we pinpoint the plugin that's causing this strange behavior, we can address it. Either with a custom code, or with some settings within the page.
You've got a lot of plugins installed. I don't want to mess around with them without Your authorization, so I must ask You to turn off all the plugins and see if the issue is still there.
If the page displays normally with all plugins (except for wpDataTables, of course) deactivated, then You can start activating them one at a time, and each time You activate a plugin refresh the http://ahikerstale.world/testpaginawpdatatables/ page and watch for the issue.

I've inspected the page and found that there is a line which doesn't belong to us that is causing the issue here. If You take a look at attachment 1, You'll see the page as it loads right now (table in front of the text and filters). There, You can see the "top: -1000px" line of code which is causing the issue.
When I disable that line, the page shows normally (see attachment 2).
To disable that line, I added the following code to Custom JS and CSS under the main wpDataTables settings page.
This will be affected on all tables, but if you want just for specific one then insert this code on the page where is that table between the style tag (<style>Code here</style>).
When I use the settings like in the attached picture my table shifts up in front of my introduction text.
On my mobile phone everything looks fine by the way. It is only when I disable the "scrollbar" and enable the "limit table width" the shifts occur
Any ways how to prevent this?

Hello again Wim.

I hope this solution works for You.
