I purchased the full version. I am a DBA with 30+ years of experience so I am familiar with keys, star schemas, etc.
I created a manual fact table (from csv) and a manual dimension table (from csv), and linked the relationships. Fact only has key, foreign key, amount to keep the testing simple. Dim only has key and a text field.
On the WP admin page, testing of the dimension dropdown works fine. No issues with add/edit/delete. Very happy with it. Great, this is the best thing ever. No coding! Then i decided to test it once more using a post/page.
When the tag is inserted into a page (ie [wpdatatable id=32 etc...]), and the page is completely empty except for the tag, the dropdown does not allow me to choose any record. It doesn't even show any record. This is for the add/edit. Google Chrome/Safari same problem. I can click on the fact, but the foreign dropdown is empty and disabled.
Can someone pls help? I am very frustrated after 3 days of going at it and I am very tired. I am even not linking to any mySql db. Just manual fact/dim. By the way, I am able to set up a connection to a local mySql db and to a remote db, so I know this is not an installation issue. I can even create wpdatatables from those 2 connections.
But I only care about the 2 manual tables. Dropdown works on the WP admin page, not on a regular page/post. Add/Edit/Delete of the fact record works on the page/post if I am not touching the dropdown.

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Also point me to the page where you have this issue so I can take a look.
The theme is using the bootstrap frame work ( many themes and other plugins use this framework for some elements ) and our plugin also use bootstrap for select boxes.
I inspected the page and saw that, so I went to wpdatatables settings page and just unchecked Include Bootstrap.js files for front end checkbox so there is no conflict anymore.
This settings is saved so I hope that you will not have any issues now.
