I am setting an ID field to have a predefined values of %VAR1% so I can pass in the ID to set.  That is working well.  However, in my testing, if I add a recored and click Apply and Add New and add another record, all future records do not have the ID set to %VAR1%.  Can you check on that?  Please let me know if you need any additional details, and I'll be happy to help.

Thanks for getting back to me.  The place where I'm using it is password protected and has private data, but I created a new site to demo the problem.  If you go to:

https://wpdt.sentree.io/test/

Then add a new record, and you'll see related_id is defaulted to 1.  Type in a name and click Apply and Add New.  You'll see it clears out both the related_it and name fields (rather than defaulting related_id to 1 again).

This is a plain WP install with just wpDataTables installed.  This wpDataTables is built using a MySQL query to a custom table.  Let me know if you need WP Admin access or anything else, but I think you should be able to reproduce it pretty easily as I was able to without much trouble here.
