I have a google spreadsheet linked to a new data table. No matter what combination of changes I think to make on the settings of the wpDataTables and of the google spreadsheet, I cannot seem to make it display the format I want (m/d/Y)
Figured it out. Had to go the the main wpDataTables settings and change the date format there. Seems really silly to have the option on individual tables that don't work but the setting for the whole plugin does.
Yes when you are making table in our plugin from existing data source and you use first or third option in table wizard and if in your data source you have columns that contain dates you have option to chose some date formats that helps wpdatatables to recognize that is date, but main settings for formatting date is in main settings in plugin where you can choose format that you need and it will be applied on all tables.
