I want to use Amelia for our cooking classes. Let's say i want to give a French cooking class next week wednesday at 17 p.m. and let people register and pay for it, what would i have to do to achieve this? I can't seem to understand how to make an item appear in the calendar. All i can do is make an appointment but that requires a customer and i don't have any customers yet. Is Amelia not going to work for what i want or is there another way?
In order to do this you will need to create a service for a French cooking class, then create one employee and connect it with that service (assign the service to the employee). In employees modal, you will see a working hours tab, set only Wednesday as a working day with working hours you need and you will be able to use the plugin (more about setting all employee's options you can read here). If you have only one service and one employee, use Step-by-step booking form for your customers. Your customers will see a calendar on the first step and Wednesday as only available date to book.
Note: In Service settings you can configure larger capacity so you can have a group appointment. More about how to configure service you can read here.
We have also a quick guide through the all basic configuration options, please follow this link to see it.
Just one more question: If i would like to organize a Cooking class on wednesday the 14th at 17pm. and maybe one more on monday 3rd of december at 16:30 how can i do that? We don't have weekly classes and with the employee settings i can only set the weekly work hours. Hope this is possible somehow.
If you don't have any classes between, you can set other days as non-working days until the 3rd December. You can set this up on the employees side or for the whole company. Either go to the Employee modal, open the tab Days off, or go to the Settings page, open Working hours & Days Off and set a range of non-working days.
Thanks for the feedback but i'm afraid this plugin is not going to work for what we want with the Employees and all. It seems rather unnecessary and confusing.
We now bought the Stach Event Calendar instead which does almost what we need.
Is there any way i can get a refund? We won't be using Amelia anymore.
I am very sad to hear that our plugin doesn't suit your needs. However since the 15 days money back guarantee has passed I am afraid that we cannot give you a refund.
