We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi there
I have a foreign key setup which works just fine. it lsits all the records from the foreign table.
When I activate "edit for own user", the data filters correctly to only show logged-in users data.
However, now the foreign key dropdown only lists the current foreign key value, an not the entire list of foreign key values.
Hi chsmit,
Thank you for your purchase.
Sorry for late response.
We are located in Serbia and our working time is from 10:00 to 17:00 CET. business days.
Yes when you are using foreign keys and option User can see and edit own data in dropdown will be show only option related for that users.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic

Hi Milan
Thanks for your reply.
If that is the case, how can the user update a foreign key value if the dropdown only lists the current selected value.
Example:
My user is currently linked to a running club named ABC Running.
Now the user changes clubs and want to select his new club as DEF Running.
(The running clubs reside in a seprate table, thus the dropdown is a foreign key.)
How does the plugin allow a user to make change in running club?
Hi chsmit,
It appears that there is a issue when you are using foreign keys and option User can see and edit won data. I will forward this to my development team to investigate and confirm is that normal behavioral or issue on our side. At the moment for user need to be already populated in table like option so it will be available in edit modal for current user.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic

Hi there
Having a foreign key relationship that works so user can select another foreign key record makes much more IT sense.
Being able just to select what is already linked against user, doesn't make sense.
I love your plugin...but the foreign key issue is quite big for me....so I will really love the fix.
Hi chsmit,
Our development team at the moment is very busy with some priority tasks, so they don't have time to look about this. We will try to be as soon as possible.
Thank you for understanding.
Best regards.

Isidora Markovic
