For example i want to use json data source , i mean to send a get/post request to an external server and receive the response throught a json file .
In the documents i readed , at the json datasource selection i field a filed to insert the url of json file , but i guess i need to insert the url of server get request and when wpdatatables receive the json response ,it will update the table.
