Recently you helped me with the css required to hide input fields on the popup editor because I want to enable editing but at the same time hide the fields.
Something like this will require some custom work, you will need to write a JS script that will be triggered on the page when someone opens a modal.
If you are not experienced with writing the scripts we can offer you our paid customization service where you can hire one of our developers to help you implement this. Our price is 50$/hour.
Thanks for your response though Milan did seem to think it could be done with custom CSS. Also it appears that some of your other customers have successfully been able to hide fields using custom CSS. Are you sure there is no workaround?
Yes it can be done with the custom CSS but this requires some more advanced CSS because that selectors for the dropdown are not the same like for the label and they are added dynamically.
As much as we would like to help you out our support policy does not include Writing advanced CSS.
Hello Milan,
Recently you helped me with the css required to hide input fields on the popup editor because I want to enable editing but at the same time hide the fields.
here is the css you provided:
input#table_3_UserId, label[for=table_3_UserId] { display:none !important; }
This works very well to hide the label for my userid field but it is not hiding the corresponding dropdown listbox.
I have tried inspecting the source while running but all attempts have failed to hide the corresponding listbox.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
HI francesa,
Thank you for your purchase.
Can you please send me the link of that table and also point me out where to look for that dropdown so I can give you my suggestion.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
