We would like to set up a service to only be available on specific days and times. But other services to be only able book at different times. Technically all for one employee.

I.E. Service 1 is available for one hour from 5p-6p Monday Wednesday and Friday. Service 2 is available 3p-4p Tuesday and Thursday.

What is the best way to add these restrictions?

    Hi Denise,
    Thank you for the purchase.

Unfortunately, this can't be achieved with single employee. You could create one employee and assign him Service1 and another employee with Service2 and each to have different working hours. And If you use ameliacatalog, ameliacategory or ameliaservice shortcodes then employee selection would be hidden.

That look like that will work fine. With the exception of each employee requiring a unique email. Do you have any creative solutions around that? Or hopefully it can be set for the admin email receive a copy of all those notification emails as well?

Hi, for some mail server providers (e.g. gmail, outlook) you can use next format for different employees:

    [email protected]

    [email protected]

    ...

And all emails will go to:

    [email protected]

Can you try that, and see if that works for you?

That seems to work great for the email solution!

    1.     I was trying to us the ameliacategory shortcode you mentioned and am not having luck. My only service category is "Classes"

I tried [ameliacategory] [ameliaclasses] with no joy.

    2.     My last question along this line is when a customer books a friend is there a way to make that additional person discounted? Is the best solution to use the "extra's" feature instead?

    i.e. Person 1 = $50     Friend/Person 2 = $25      Total amount charged = $75

    1) Hi, sorry, I gave you the wrong short-code info. You can create short-code for specific category (see image please).

    2) Unfortunately, this is not possible, the one way you could achieve this is to create different services (both with maximum capacity 1 and with different prices) witch would imply that the first is for one person, and second for two persons (for example, you can add this information about number of persons in service name or description).
