I'd like to get user input, either from a box above the table, or from a cell in the table (less desirable), and then calculate a value based on the input. Then I'd like to display the calculated value in the table or above the table.
I watched this video, but it looks like wpDataTables has changed since then. Notably the "Editing" option used.

This is a database from Excel using "Create a table linked to an existing data source."
I'm having trouble figuring out how to do this. I don't want any other columns to be editable by the user.
