Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Also point me on table id where you have this issue so I can take a look.
We visit your website and table id that you provide and we can see that you didn't set Editor input type on Editing tab in column settings for columns that you what to edit.
Second we notice that your table is large and because of that server-side processing is turn on, but there are some features that are and aren’t supported by standard wpDataTables (DataTables engine) and by Excel-like tables (Handsontable engine). We are working on eliminating these limitations, so you can check this list on this link.
As you can find that Excel-like tables are not supported with large tables and serverside processing which means that it can provide with unexpected behavioral, non-functional or even break your site.
My suggestion is to use standard wpDataTables engine for editing data in table.
Hi,
I'm having trouble editing cells using Excel-Like viewer.
When I use the regular viewer, I can edit without any trouble.
But when I try to do it on the Excel-Like viewer, the rows on the DB are not updated. There are no error mesages.
I can add new rows and edit date fields, but cannot do it with string and integer fileds.
I'm using MS SQL as a data source.
