Unfortunately conditional formatting is working like this it is just changing the values in the table for displaying but not changing them in the database.
The data in the filters are returned from the database and because of that the conditional formatting is not applied to them.
I see that I can use conditional formatting.. if the value is "this" display it as "that"
but I do not see that functionality showing up in the filter boxes specifically in a drop down.
