We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Can you allow managers to delete or cancel appointments? It seems unbalanced to have to make someone an administrator of the entire site with full access to everything including WP functions just to do this.
Hi PilotPhotog,
Managers and employees don't have permission to delete appointments, they only can change appointment status (manager for all, and employee for its own appointments).
But this functionality can be changed, with some WP plugin that can manage WP Roles, e.g.:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/capability-manager-enhanced/
With this plugin, Amelia Manager and Amelia Employee can be given additional capabilities, or current capabilities can be removed. In your case, Amelia Manager should be given "amelia delete others appointments" capability, and to Amelia Employee "amelia delete appointments" capability.
After altering Amelia roles, this WP Roles plugin can be safely deactivated.
HI Zeljko,
Thank you this plugin fixed the issue! Are there any plans to include editing user roles within the Amelia plugin?
Hi PilotPhotog,
This is not currently planed for development, as this functionality can be achieved with external plugin.
But we do follow required features, from our features list here. We plan to follow the needs of our users and implement the most requested ones first.
