Hello, I recently purchased the wpDataTables plugin to use with Gravity Forms, and I was hoping the following features would be available with the plugin, but I haven't had any luck setting things up this way:
1. Create a table that includes editable header, footer, and table data fields. The column titles would be pre-populated, so the visitor would simply fill in the table data for submission—I was hoping this table would function as an online expense report that visitors would submit.
2. Have the functionality to click a "submit" button to send the completed form/table to the site administrator
Is this type of functionality possible, or did I purchase the wrong plugin?
When you make table from Gravity form with add on Gravity forms integration for wpdatatables from name of the fields that you set in that form will be made Column headers in wpdatatables.
1. With option Display header on DISPLAY tab in column settings you can change that name(like admin) and in footer will be filters(if you set filters in footer) and like placeholder will be shown name that you set for Display header. What visitors can change is data from that table throw edit modal(if you allow visitors to edit data in table)
2. It is not possible to send table, but I think that there is a option with Gravity form that you can set when visitors submit the form, data from form will be send to administrators on review for approved or something like that. My suggestion is to contact Gravity forms support about this functionality.
