    Hello all,

I was asked to create a ticket to explore the possibility of creating a gravity form that mimics this linked spreadsheet QC XLS .

Basically what I am trying to accomplish for my client using gravity forms is the following:

I created a gravity form that matches the first tab which is several fields that have radio buttons with values of 5-0. The next part of the process is have the gravity form collect the answers to display in a format that is similar to tabs 2 and 3

Tab 2 is a scoring sheet and Tab 3 is a summary page. I know that wordpress and gravity forms can do calculations with conditional logic- and Im assuming since wp data tables functions much like excel that the formulas can be placed in a data table and then the form fields from gravity forms can be pulled in using the place holders that can be copied from the gravity forms notifications section Eg pulling the qc manager name using {QC Manager (First):2.3} and the property owners information using the corresponding field eg  {Property Address (Street Address):1.1} and then pull the radio button value score using {Mowing Patterns:4}.

Basically this excel form is filled out - all fields on the first tab scored 0-5
On the second page each section is scored- then that value from each section is displayed on the summary page with the letter grade displayed-  We can dispense with the A-F and just display a percent grade 0 to 100% and i can put an html key that says 90-100 = A etc etc.

I believe it can be done- but not sure how best to accomplish this

can we import the sheet that has macros and keep them intact?  or

can conditional logic mimic the excel formulas -

can we accomplish just displaying everything on one page - eg a column on the left with the scores from tab 2 and a small section to the right displaying the score and the QC Manager name and property owner/address info?

Thanks for any help you can provide-

    Chris Rabkin

    Hi Chris,
    Thank you for your inquire.

can we import the sheet that has macros and keep them intact?

Unfortunately we do not support macros at this moment

can conditional logic mimic the excel formulas

We have conditional formatting which allows you to apply formatting based on cell data - Documentation and for the calculation we have special column type formula -  Documentation

As for placing everything on one page our Gravity integration Add-on is designed to create a table based on entries from the form so you will end up with shortcode that will show the table with chosen column in it - Documentation

Please be aware that is no easy for me to answer to this request because we are not in position to advice you on Gravity Forms usage. My best advice would be to take a look at our and their documentation see if two plugins could fit your needs and I will gladly answer you on any question which is specific to our products.

For testing purpose we have sandbox website where you can see and test all plugin functionalities
