I would like the user to select from some list boxes that ultimately build a URL that is then passed.. I have no idea where to look for help on that..
anything you can do to point me in a good direction would be great!

How do I pass values a user has selected to the url?
In the attached image you will see that I have filtered to a part number.
I want to click that part number and use the value to prefilter a new table.
not sure how to pass the value of that record.

Sorry to disappoint you but unfortunately something like this is not possible to achieve with the plugin built in features at the moment.
My suggestion is to take a look at this link from our documentation about Pre-filtering tables through URL
For this I assume that you will need to create a mysql table and make a query that will return the URL column with the formatting like from the link above.
