We use "URL links" type columns with the double pipes at the end to display a user friendly name. For example :
https://money.cnn.com/2018/09/10/technology/business/tesla-stock-bonds-elon-musk/index.html || Article on Tesla stock
Is there any way that when sorting on this type of data/column the table sorts on the title "Article on Tesla stock" and not its hyperlink ?
The user doesn't see the link when used this way, only the title, so it doesn't make sense to them.
Thanks,
Francois
HI Frank,
Thank you for your purchase.
Unfortuantely for now sorting URL columns is not possible to achieve because it will start sorting from the start of the link.
https or http ...
We are looking to implement this feature for our future updates.
Best regards.
