    Hi

I am sure this option is not currently available the ability to Copy a Row as part of the editing functions ( Edit, New, Delete )

Am I correct in my assumption ?

Is there any intention to add this Copy option in the future, similar to the Copy option available in phpMyAdmin.

    Many Thanks

    Colin

    Hi Colin,
    Thank you for your purchase.

    Sorry for late response.

We are located in Serbia and our working time is from 10:00 to 17:00 CET. business days.

At the moment you can do that with some additional steps. You can filter that table so it will be shown only that row and then use Copy option from Table tools that will copy column headers and values from that row.

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,

    Isidora Markovic

    Hi Milan

No problem at all, I am very pleased with the support.

The performance of the filtering in so very slow when Server-side processing is ON that it is unworkable (whereas when Server-side processing is OFF the filtering is instantaneous) and often crashes so I have a separate table created for Add/Edit Table (where Filtering and Sorting is OFF) and View Table (to perform filtering and sorting) which is not ideal. I would much prefer to have one menu option for users to my site, to Edit and/or filter and sort.

I had assumed that this was the expectation as to how it should be used due to server side processing ?

So as a consequence I cannot filter to a single row, but I understand your comment, also am I confusing your use of Copy as copying the row to the clipboard as opposed to Copying the row content and INSERTING the row into the database table as an additional record, which is what I require. My understanding of the Table Tools Copy function is it copies the row information to the clipboard, so you can paste to another document.

I am trying to get some information for the other call, so I will be responding soon, thanks.

    Best Regards

    Colin

    Hi Colin,

Performanse of the loading table and serverside process like filtering and sorting depends from few factors. If you are using complicated queries that are not optimize can produce slow filtering and sorting. Also serverside procesing depends of server configuration (php version, mysql...)

Yes sorry for missunderstanding, you can use Copy option from Table tools for copies the row information to the clipboard so you can paste to another document, not in database.

    Best regards.

    Hi Milan

Thanks for the details, I will look into your suggestions, I will have to use server side for most table queries as I expect they will soon exceed 3,000 rows of data after go live.

    Many Thanks
